Additional Details:
| This Colonial home, a fine example of Colonial Architecture, was moved to Williamsburg from Providence Forge in 1947. Originally built in the 18th century, it is sometimes referred to as the "Providence Forge House" and is known for Cornwallis camping there during the Revolution. It was restored by Mrs. Virginia B. Haughwout and opened to the public by the Daughters of the American Revolution on February 7, 1950. Now open for guests. |
