| The channel is spanned with a 1,708-foot cantilever type bridge with main span of 800 feet and two anchor spans of 458 feet. The north and south approaches consist of concrete deck arches of varying length, and each lands with a plaza in a state park which will be beautifully landscaped. Total length of structure 5,337 feet, a little over a mile and the longest bridge in the Northwest. Roadway 27 feet wide with two 3½-foot sidewalks. |
