| Designed in Honolulu and fabricated in Cremona, Italy, the 92 x 12 foot curved mural gives the effect of panorama in mosaic design. It was transported in 12 x 12 inch tesserae sheets. Earth colors were used by the artist, Juliette May Fraser, to blend with surrounding hills. Symbols are both historic and contemporary. |
