New Mexico School for Deaf, Santa Fe, Pueblo Architecture
Additional Details:
| This building is a renaissance of Pueblo Indian architecture. Except for the doors and windows, which are larger than the Indians would have used, the edifice might have been erected in any of the numerous pueblos near Santa Fe, centuries ago. Of late years, the beauty of this architecture has been generally recognized, and in attempting to preserve it, such buildings as this are being erected. |
