| Sunset at Delicate Arch as seen from Wintercamp Point. Delicate Arch began as a hole in a narrow sandstone fin. Erosion gradually enlarged the arch, and gradually removed the fin left and right of the growing arch, thus producing this very rare feature, a free standing arch 65 ft. wide and 85 ft. high. |
