| The giant Kerry mountain range, MacGillycuddy's Reeks, is presided over by Ireland's highest mountain, Carrauntuohil, 3,414 ft. high. Carrauntuohil can be climbed from the Black Valley to the south via Hag's Glen and the Devil's Ladder or from Glencar and Lough Acoose to the west. In clear weather the panorama from the summit is magnificent. |
