Detailed view of the massive Sy-Sima Pelton turbine manufactured by Kværner, located in the Sima power station hall. The hall is 200m long, 20m wide, and 40m high. The Sy-Sima turbine is part of a system with two 315 MW units operating at 300 rpm with a head of 885m. The Lang-Sima section has two 260 MW units at 428 rpm with a head of 1065m.
