Additional Details:
Bulldogging, or steer wrestling as it is sometimes called in rodeos, is often performed on the range in line with every day duty. When a cowboy breaks his rope or has used it in tying up a wild steer and still has another to go, with nothing except a small rope used for tying down cattle, he proceeds to catch the steer with his hands, wrestling down and tying him, that he may come back later and lead him out or bring a few gentle cattle with which to drive him.
