Old bottles of unique sizes and shapes are colorful remnants of the equally colorful Old West. This collection in the MATURANGO MUSEUM of the Indian Wells Valley in California's Mojave Desert contains for example a bottle for Dr. Hostetter's bitters (upper left), a handblown wine bottle (left center), a sun purpled jam jar, and a hand-blown whiskey flask (lower left) from about 1875.
