| Located at 10A Marshall St. on The Freedom Trail, this is the oldest brick building in Boston. Owned and occupied in 1660 by William Courser, First Town Crier of Boston. In 1737 by James Davenport, Brother-in-law of Benjamin Franklin. Owned from 1764-1785 by John Hancock. The Continental Troops were paid here in 1779. |
