This lovely old gate leads into a large and beautiful Courtyard. It gained its name from the fact that two sisters, Emma and Bertha Camors, for twenty years conducted a variety store at this site. Built in 1832, it was the former residence of Governor Perier Cenier, who ruled the French Colony from 1726 to 1733.
