| Completed in 1910 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Buffalo Bill Dam rises 328 feet above the river bed in spectacular Shoshone Canyon, six miles west of Cody, Wyoming. The scenic "Cody Road to Yellowstone" passes the crest of the Dam and skirts the edge of Buffalo Bill Reservoir in a series of tunnels drilled through the solid rock of the mountain side. |
