Key System Suburban Car 271 at California Railway Museum
Additional Details:
| Lehigh car 271 and mates came to Oakland in 1901. Its nickname is from the Lehigh Valley Transit Co. of Pennsylvania, which ordered the cars but could not pay for them, hence their resale to the west coast system. It was retired, and sold to the museum, in 1946. |
