Additional Details:
One of C&O's first Greenbrier 4-8-4 passenger locomotives, named "Patrick Henry", pauses in Charlottesville, VA, in September 1949. Five J-3 class locomotives were ordered from Lima in July 1935 and named after Virginia statesmen.
