| The white or square-lipped rhinoceros has a straight upper lip, quite different from that of the black or hook-lipped rhinoceros. The white rhinoceros inhabits the dry savannah region of Africa in the southern Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. It feeds on grass almost exclusively. In hot weather it feeds frequently to mud wallows. |
