Known throughout the Southwest as the "Big Friendly Bank for Everybody." Without merger or consolidation it has grown since it opened its doors in 1916 to be one of the nation's 100 largest banks. Atop the building, above mammoth clocks, its beautifully lighted tower can be seen for 35 miles. From this tower, music is played three times daily, helping to lift the spirits of thousands of folk in the downtown area.
