Fern and Odessa Lakes are reached by a trail leading up the Thompson River; then climbing a great slope under thick timber to reach the lakes. About halfway up this slope the trail leads to the brink of the great series of falls called Fern Falls which plunge picturesquely down the great slope for nearly half a mile thru dense trees and over huge boulders. Marguerite Falls are a section of this beautiful series of falls.
