Official United Nations Flag Adopted October 20, 1947 Economic and Social Council Chamber, UN Headquarters The Chamber is located in the Conference Building of the United Nations Permanent Headquarters. Sweden contributed towards the decoration of the Chamber which was designed by Mr. Sven Markelius of Sweden. United Nations Security Council Chamber, Per Krohg Mural Chamber designed by Arnstein Arneberg of Norway with a large mural painted by Norwegian artist Per Krohg. United Nations Headquarters Panoramic View, East River This is a panoramic view of the United Nations Headquarters from the East River. The Headquarters consists of: the General Assembly Hall, the Conference Building, the Secretariat Building and the Library. United Nations Assembly Conference Room, General Assembly UN Trusteeship Council Chamber, Finn Juhl Design, NYC Interior view showing the tiered seating area and the circular council table arrangement.
