| The Kava ceremony is a sacred ceremony in Samoa. It is served at meetings of chiefs, when entertaining important guests and on occasions of particular rejoicing or great sorrow. If served in a Kava ceremony you must first 'tip out' in front of you a bit of the liquid and say 'Manuia' (good fortune) before drinking. |
