The front of the postcard features a handwritten list titled "What Christianity has done for Civilization: 1911". The list contains five points criticizing Christianity, including its role in establishing the Inquisition, destroying Greek and Roman civilization leading to over 1000 years of darkness, burning women at the stake as witches, suppressing truth, and kindling the Scottish and Spanish Inquisitions. The back shows a Boston, MA postmark from January 4, 1911, addressed to Miss Marg. Urbansky in Jersey City, New Jersey.
