The background behind the bells is a warm yellow. Below the bells, the greeting 'A Merry Christmas.' is printed in a decorative font. The back shows a postmark from Alt A, UT, dated December 23, 1910, and a one-cent U.S. postage stamp. A handwritten message wishes 'merry Xmas. and Happy New Year.' from 'Bela' to 'mr. & mrs. A. F.
