"All Alone" Lonesome Plea for Correspondence with Rose Border

| The front of this divided back postcard features a decorative border of green vines and orange-red roses. The central text, in an elegant script, reads: "I'm "All Alone" and lonesome, too. That's why I'd like to hear from you!" The card was copyrighted in 1911 by J. Herzman, New York. The reverse side includes a handwritten message dated May 18, 1912, from "SWAH" to Miss Greta Stuckum at 404 Louise Ave, Dowagiac, MI, expressing a desire to hear from her. A partial postmark from Dowagiac, MI, 1912 is visible. |
