A large, ornate capital 'A' begins a poem that reads: "All blessings on your Christmas hearth, While greetings glad and gay Ring out and mingle with the mirth Of this most joyful day." Below the poem, a burning Yule log with flames and smoke is depicted. The reverse side is addressed to Mrs. A.S. Long in Portland, Oregon, and bears a 1912 postmark. |
