The front features a decorative birthday greeting. A central rectangular frame depicts a charming house with a red roof nestled in a green landscape with trees and a path leading to it. The frame is adorned with a golden ribbon bow at the top, and surrounded by vibrant red flowers, possibly roses or poppies, and green foliage. The card has an embossed border. The back includes a handwritten birthday message from "Mrs Gass" to "Miss Ada Kniss" in Sunbury, PA, and is postmarked July 17, 1913.
