The rooms as they originally stood, here are 200 years of domestic architecture, furniture, ceramics, metalwork, textiles, paintings, chosen with the most meticulous regard for their quality & fitness of locations and assembled with impeccable taste. Winterthur represents the largest & richest assemblage of American furniture and art ever brought together. The Museum, the former home of Henry Francis du Pont, is open daily to the public with admission by application. |
