Additional Details:
Faneuil Hall, affectionately called "The Cradle of Liberty," was built in 1742 by Peter Faneuil and is still used for public meetings. This was the center of Revolutionary movements in Boston and the Colonies, and was used by the British officers as a playhouse during the siege of Boston. The Hall has many historic paintings and portraits.
