Inspired by the Campanile of Venice, the Daniels and Fisher Tower in Denver features an observation balcony, the highest viewpoint in the city, offering a panoramic view of over 200 miles of the Rocky Mountain Range. The tower is 375 ft. tall to the top of its flagpole. Denver is described as the "Queen City of the Plains" and the "Gateway to the West." The Daniels & Fisher Stores Co. was one of America's most celebrated department stores. From the tower, peaks like Mount Evans, Pikes Peak, Longs Peak, James Peak, and Lookout Mountain are visible.
