View over cloisters of Canterbury Cathedral. Bell Harry tower, finished in 1498, has been called "the queenliest tower in Christendom". At the time it was the largest brick tower in existence. Its name is derived from that of the one bell which hangs there. In the 14th century cloisters, along which Becket will have walked to his martyrdom, lie buried the remains of Archbishops and Deans.
