Additional Details:
Constructed by Messrs. Bury Curtis & Kennedy of Liverpool, this engine was delivered to the Furness Railway in 1846, and was known as old 'Copper Nob.' She was withdrawn from service in 1898 and at that time was thought to be the oldest locomotive at work in the world. This locomotive is preserved at the National Railway Museum, York.
