| The great fortifications constructed by the Beauchamp Earls of Warwick in the 14th Century as viewed from the Courtyard of the Castle. The Clock Tower forms the Inner Gateway to the Castle and was originally protected on the outside by a Drawbridge and Portcullis. The Portcullis is still in position and is lowered every night. |
