Warwick Castle Queen Anne Bedroom State Bed Tapestry

| Queen Anne's Bedroom has a magnificent plaster ceiling of the Restoration period. The walls are hung with a very beautiful Brussels tapestry, dated 1604 and probably depicting the gardens of the palace at Brussels. In this room is the State bed, hung with velvet and damask and with the crown and initials AR, which belonged to Queen Anne, as also did the stools and chairs. They were a gift from George III. |
