This magnificent window was donated to the Minster in 1338 by Archbishop Melton whose trefoil-leaf badge is featured in the glass design. The curvilinear tracery has a large heart as the central feature, often known as the Heart of Yorkshire. The window looks particularly beautiful when the setting sun shines through the glass.
