Additional Details:
187 ft. long, has been described as one of the masterpieces of Perpendicular Gothic architecture and one of the world's greatest works of art. Finished in 1410, it replaced an earlier Norman structure, some of the pillars of which are encased in the existing ones. Just under 80 ft. high, the nave appears much taller owing to the proportions of the pillars and the absence of a triforium. Twelfth century glass can be seen in the great West window.
