The largest-ever flying reptile, Pteranodon, with a wingspan of over 8m (26ft), flying above the ocean. In the background, a long-necked plesiosaur, Elasmosaurus, emerges from the water. The scene depicts the Cretaceous period, about 90 million years ago. This is No. 6 in a series of eight joint long cards forming a continuous picture, produced in liaison with City of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery, England.
