| Perched precariously on the side of Mingus Mountain is Jerome, Arizona, formerly a prosperous copper mining town. This view shows a few of the homes on stilts which once were comfortable residence for the mine workers et al, but which are now about 75 per cent abandoned. In the distance on the horizon are the San Francisco Peaks and the Verde Valley stretches out beyond the town. |
