| Built in 1880, the Mono County Courthouse is the second oldest courthouse in California. The original county seat of Mono County was in the mining town of Aurora. When a state survey determined that Aurora was actually located in Nevada, the county seat was moved to Bridgeport and the courthouse was built. |
