London – Trafalgar Square and The Strand – by night
Additional Details:
| The site is said to be the finest in Europe. Conceived by John Nash (1752-1835), it was to be named after the new monarch as William the Fourth's Square, but the King agreed the more popular name of Trafalgar Square should be used. A most delightful sight at night, the area is ablaze with many brightly coloured lights. |
