Glengarry Castle, Loch Oich with Swans

| Glengarry Castle, or as it is sometimes known, Invergarry Castle, is situated on a rocky knoll and embowered in trees overlooking the shores of Loch Oich. The interior of the building was destroyed by Cumberland in 1746, but sufficient is left to show how strong the building once was. "Prince Charlie" slept in Invergarry Castle on more than one occasion, and the countryside abounds in legends and tales of this romantic personage. |
