A cream-colored card featuring a decorative "A merry Christmas" in elegant script. The initial "C" in Christmas is elaborately designed as a life preserver adorned with red holly berries and green leaves, and mistletoe. Below the main greeting, it reads "With greeting true and kind regard I sign my name to this small card." The reverse side is a standard postcard format with a 1-cent US postage stamp featuring George Washington, postmarked Kingman, AZ, December 17, 1910. It is addressed to Mr. Edgar Stansfield in Denver, CO. A handwritten message reads "I hope you have a sure enough Xmas L.E.B." The card also indicates "Printed in Germany." |
