The card contains a festive poem: 'Merry be your CHRISTMAS DAY, This little card is rather meager, And yet to reach you it is eager. It came from many miles away; To wish you joy on Christmas day.' The reverse side is addressed to Mr. & Mrs. J. McFarland in Pueblo, CO, and bears a 1920 postmark.
