| The Torsk holds the distinction of sinking the last 2 Japanese warships sunk in WW II. After service in the Lebanese Operation and Cuban Missile Crisis, the Torsk was decommissioned in 1972 and turned over to the Maryland Sea Cadets as a Junior-Achievement type project. Open during the summer daily, during the school year on Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, 12 - 8 P.M. |
