A fully accredited general hospital with 434 beds, including 61 bassinets, serving annually over 33,000 in-patients and out-patients from Waterbury and 17 towns. Courses in medicine, surgery, other specialties; nursing; medical and x-ray technology meet highest standards. 15 trustees, 76 incorporators, 300 doctors and dentists, 732 employees, 214 students, 480 active volunteers, 620 Aid Society members.
