The Shreveport Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children was built in 1922, one of the first of many such institutions scattered throughout the northern Western Hemisphere. In this beautifully landscaped setting, children of all races, colors, and religions whose cases are not considered hopeless, are given the best in orthopedic surgery, and therapeutic treatment. The main operating room is located above the Clinic entrance. |
