Grand View Point, 14 miles East of El Tovar
Hotel This is perhaps one of the greatest scenic
points in the Canyon and has been reproduced
on canvas by some of the greatest artists of the
world. To the right may be seen the mouth of
the Little Colorado River, which forms the head
of the Crand Canyon proper, and the lower extrem-
ity of Marble Canyon. In the far distance one can
plainly see the Navajo Mountains situated in
Southern Utab. 132 miles away, and last, but
not least, a portion of the famous Arizona
Painted Desert.
