| The Milwaukee Hospital, "The Passavant," founded 1863, situated on the highest elevation of the west side, in a part of two squares, extending from 21st to 23rd Streets, between Cedar and State Streets. About 3,200 patients are annually cared for. The Layton Home, an annex for invalids, is part of this Hospital. |
