Additional Details:
Prehistoric Indian cliff dwellings. The Indians utilized the natural shallow caves under the ledges and closed off the cavity with masonry walls, which they partitioned into rooms. Walls were constructed from chunks of limestone laid up to form a double wall with the center filled with rubble. Mud was used as mortar and plaster.
