| The oldest house in Tensas Parish, this is a one and a half story, 19 room house that was built in 1803. It is filled with antiques and Civil War memorabilia. The original structure was a three room hunting cottage used as 'winter quarters' and was later added to. Grant's troops took it over during the Civil War. |
