The Magnuskirche, founded in the 8th century, was expanded in the 11th and 12th centuries. The old apse was replaced in the 14th century. After its destruction in 1689, reconstruction began in 1712, finished in 1933. The full reconstruction after destruction in 1945 was completed in 1953. It is the oldest evangelical church in Southwest Germany. Pastor Martin Luther served here.
