The Drachenfels, the boldest of all ruins, reflected in the beautiful Rhine River, is the proud guardian of the Siebengebirge. In size and grandeur, its appearance surpasses all other rocks on the Rhine. The mountain is 320 m high, the castle was built in 1117 and was once called Drachenburg.
