| Standing on the west side of Denver's Civic Center, the Denver branch of the U.S. Mint began making coins in 1906. More than 5 billion coins are stamped here each year. On display here is the second largest cache of gold bullion. The Mint is open for weekday tours all year except for last two weeks in June when inventory is taken. |
